Viral Link Building is the most strategic and most difficult linking strategy to pull off. In most cases we try ad find something special about a site, something that people like, something we give away, some kind of unique tool, some great tutorials or anything like this.
We then start by marketing it, sending a Press Release to create a buzz, posting it in forums to create a buzz, and we keep promoting it till it takes off on its own.
Lets face it, unless well tell people about it it is highly unlikely that they will find it, so we must start a marketing or SEO campaign on the viral topic to get it going. Once the right buzz comes in, it should take off on its own, making the link building process effortless.
This is by far the best strategy there is in link building, and its usually hit or miss. Keep at it and it can do well. It is simply the best search engine optimization methodology.
